What's the difference between the Protect Platform tiers?
Each tier builds on the last. Advanced covers core endpoint protection with cloud sandboxing, Complete adds mail and cloud app protection, Elite introduces extended detection and response with multi-factor authentication, and MDR / MDR Ultimate add fully managed 24/7 detection and response on top.
Can I run the console on-premises instead of in the cloud?
Yes. Every Protect Platform tier includes a console that can be deployed in the cloud or on-premises, depending on what suits your environment.
Do I need to buy Threat Intelligence Feeds separately?
Yes Threat Intelligence Feeds & Reports, SharePoint Security, Endpoint Encryption and Cybersecurity Awareness Training are available as add-ons on every tier shown here.
How is pricing handled?
All ESET Protect Platform pricing is quote-based. Request a quote and we'll get back to you with AU-specific pricing, GST included.
Can I upgrade tiers later?
Yes. You can move up tiers, for example from Advanced to Elite or into a managed MDR service, as your requirements grow without starting your deployment over.
Is support included, or is that extra?
Technical Support is included from Advanced upward. Premium Support and Premium Support Ultimate are optional add-ons that provide faster guaranteed response times and a named technical account manager.
